Életrajz
Hubert Bourdeau 1861. október 30-án született a Nièvre megyében található Emphy kommunában .
1898 és 1937 között Bourdo Saint-Prie-en-Murat község papja volt . Tagja volt a Francia Mikológiai Társaságnak, 1919- ben alelnöke, tíz évvel később, 1929 -ben pedig tiszteletbeli elnöke. Gombapéldánygyűjteményét a párizsi Nemzeti Természettudományi Múzeum őrzi .
Hubert Bourdeau Amédée Galzennel közösen több tudományos publikációt is publikált a Franciaországban előforduló gombák sokféle típusáról.
